Review: Burzum "Fallen" 2011 by Lodown Magazine

Pure magic! Turning over a new leaf, Vikernes just leaves us really puzzled this time. Presented are common structures, like a flashback of his first two albums, but in a new and much different look. Complex, mainly melodic and folk-metal orientated compositions, accompanied by partly rasping and clean vocals as well as spoken words. "Hun er forhatt av de fleste, men elsket av de aller beste" (Hated by most, but loved by the best) 8.5/10
